Chana Masala Pasta

Trust me. It sounds alot more complicated than it is. I actually used some leftover Indian Chana Masala takeout from the night before.
INGREDIENTS
Chana Masala leftovers
pasta of your choice
greens (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Boil your water and add pasta of your choice. Usually I'd add salt to the water, but since we're adding the Chana Masala later I skip this step. If you haven't tried brown rice pasta, you're missing out! It has the chewiness of white pasta and the heartiness of whole wheat pasta.
Make your sauce. You may want to eliminate the red pepper flakes and the amount of salt and black pepper because the Chana Masala is so flavorful and spicy as it is.
After you have put the sauce back into your saute pan after blending, add your leftover Chana Masala and heat through.
Once your pasta is al dente, add it to your magic pasta sauce. Let it simmer and enjoy when you're ready!
Feel free to add fresh herbs such as Basil or Italian Flatleaf Parsley and/or finely chopped fresh baby spinach.
Serve and enjoy!
