MATERIALS
Filtered or distilled water
Small bowl or cup
Tea steeper, strainer or sieve
Tea tree oil
Sealed glass container
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring 1/2 cup of distilled water to a boil (or if you have a water cooler/heater, just use the hot water). Put the dried lavender buds in a small bowl or cup, and pour the water over the lavender to let it steep. Or put the lavender in a tea steeper. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the lavender buds with a spoon or strain it with a sieve. Pour the lavender water into a small glass container.
Allow the lavender water to cool in the bottle, then add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil and shake. The tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and helps keep skin clear and bright.
Dab a small amount of your lavender facial cleanser a cotton ball or pad and clean in the morning and night, or as needed. Enjoy having a fresh, clean and lovely smelling face!
